The client was running a high-volume e-commerce store but struggling with manual inventory management. Stock levels were not updating across different warehouses in real-time, leading to overselling. Furthermore, the dispatch team was manually entering hundreds of orders daily into the RedX courier portal, causing a 20% error rate and significant shipping delays.
Smart Dev architected a robust, centralized inventory system using Laravel 10. We developed a custom admin dashboard where stock levels are automatically adjusted the moment an order is placed.
To solve the shipping bottleneck, we built a secure REST API integration directly with the RedX system. Now, once an order is verified, a single click generates the consignment ID, prints the shipping label, and notifies the courierâ€â€ÂÂÂÂÂall from within the custom dashboard.
